Job Summary
Now hiring Stamp Operators for a company in Painesville for 1st shift 7am 3:30pm.
Weekly pay ranging between $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience.
The Stamp Operator is responsible for operating stamping machines and related equipment to produce metal components.
Job Duties:
- Set up operate and monitor stamping machines (e.g. modular dies 4-post dies).
- Load raw materials (metal strips coils) and ensure proper alignment feed and tooling for efficient stamping.
- Inspect stamped parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine checks make adjustments and document production parameters.
- Remove and dispose of scrap material and maintain cleanliness of stamping area.
- Maintain accurate production records (quantity downtime rework) and communicate with supervisor regarding schedule adherence or quality concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-years prior experience with press operating.
