Do you want to make Apple products smarter for our users The Information Intelligence teams are building groundbreaking technology for algorithmic search machine learning natural language processing and artificial intelligence. The features we build are redefining how hundreds of millions of people use their computers and mobile devices to search and find what they are looking for. Our infrastructure powers search features across a variety of Apple products including Apple Intelligence Siri Spotlight Safari Messages and multi-modal Lookup. As part of this group you will work with one of the most exciting high performance computing environments with petabytes of data millions of queries per second and have an opportunity to imagine and build products that delight our customers every single day.
As a member of the team youll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field enabling software feature development delivering Apple Intelligence to customers. This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle challenges.
Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definitionnImplementing Swift frameworks that adhere to defined API contractsnCollaborating with our product cross-functional teamsnParticipating in architecture and code reviewsnBuilding internal engineering tools as necessary
7 years of experience with Swift programming ObjC is a plusnExpertise in working with Concurrency primitivesnExperience with Performance Profiling Memory and Optimization techniquesnUnderstanding of client/server architecturesnProficiency with SDK APIs Apple Developer Tools (Xcode Instruments)nComfort with large codebases and practical solutionsnKnowledge of software patterns that allow for testingnExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as in a teamnBS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience with Networking stack CDNs is a plusnExperience with telemetry defining and measuring SLAs is a plus
