Job Description:

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily staffing operations across the hospital to support safe patient care and operational efficiency. This role manages staffing adjustments call-ins float assignments and staffing resource allocation while collaborating with nursing leaders and departmental leadership. The Staffing Coordinator serves as a central communication resource for staffing operations in a 24/7 healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Associates degree Preferred

• Two (2) years experience

• Two (2) years healthcare scheduling staffing or administrative experience preferred; Experience in hospital operations or staffing coordination preferred; Familiarity with staffing and scheduling systems (i.e. API Workday) preferred; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications highly recommended.
