Job Summary

Staffing Coordinator

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating nursing office functions including labor management secretarial support setting appointments and providing support to tenants.

Essential Functions
  • Create and manage home health aide schedule.
  • Actively participates in the reduction of overtime.
  • Interview and hiring of Home Health Aide staff
  • Maintains the resident charts and file documents.
  • Retrieve phone messages answer phones regularly taking messages as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all material.
  • Assist with program or arrangements for special functions.
  • Copy and fax materials as needed.
  • Arrange rides for clients.
  • Works as home health aide as needed.
  • Coordinate visits of outside providers.
  • Works alongside nurses.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet fast-paced deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working with older adults.
  • Experience working as NAR or Home Health Aide in Assisted Living setting.
  • Ability to read write and comprehend instructions and documentation including medical terminology in English.
