OBGYN Group is looking for a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing womens healthcare team. What Youll Do

As a member of our nursing team you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout every stage of the patient visit.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

• Obtain vital signs medical histories and other clinical information.

• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Assist physicians with examinations in-office procedures and treatments.

• Administer injections medications and other clinical treatments within your scope of practice.

• Collect and process laboratory specimens.

• Coordinate laboratory testing referrals diagnostic studies and hospital admissions as needed.

• Perform telephone triage by assessing patient concerns and providing guidance according to clinical protocols.

• Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant findings to providers.

• Maintain exam rooms by ensuring they are clean organized and fully stocked.

• Help ensure efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.

• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA OSHA and all organizational policies.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.

• Work collaboratively with physicians nurses and administrative staff to provide outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Current MA certification or Illinois LPN/RN license.

• Previous clinical experience preferred; OB/GYN or womens health experience is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
