OBGYN Group is looking for a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing womens healthcare team. What Youll Do
As a member of our nursing team you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout every stage of the patient visit.
Responsibilities include:
Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Obtain vital signs medical histories and other clinical information.
Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Assist physicians with examinations in-office procedures and treatments.
Administer injections medications and other clinical treatments within your scope of practice.
Collect and process laboratory specimens.
Coordinate laboratory testing referrals diagnostic studies and hospital admissions as needed.
Perform telephone triage by assessing patient concerns and providing guidance according to clinical protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant findings to providers.
Maintain exam rooms by ensuring they are clean organized and fully stocked.
Help ensure efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA OSHA and all organizational policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
Work collaboratively with physicians nurses and administrative staff to provide outstanding patient care.
Qualifications
Current MA certification or Illinois LPN/RN license.
Previous clinical experience preferred; OB/GYN or womens health experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
