Staff Marketing Operations Specialist

Renesas is seeking a methodical and business-minded Product Line Business Specialist to join our Memory Interface Division. This role serves as a key advocate at the product level driving problem-solving forecasting and cross-functional coordination to ensure we can meet customer demand. The ideal candidate combines a marketing lens with strong business management and operations expertise to anticipate supply and demand imbalances up to 18 months in advance and proactively resolve constraints before they impact our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Advocacy & Business Ownership

• Act as the primary advocate for assigned products representing their interests across the organization
• Champion product-level business needs in cross-functional decision-making forums
• Provide a marketing-informed perspective on product positioning demand trends and customer priorities

Forecasting & Supply-Demand Planning

• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts projecting business and supply positions 18 months into the future
• Identify where business demand and supply availability are likely to break enabling early intervention
• Model demand scenarios and translate them into actionable supply requirements

Problem Solving & Escalation

• Proactively identify and escalate potential shortages assembly capacity limitations and wafer constraints
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts to close supply-demand gaps
• Develop mitigation strategies to protect customer commitments during periods of constraint

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

• Gather intelligence from key stakeholders across sales operations manufacturing and supply chain
• Coordinate and organize inputs into a coherent actionable business picture
• Communicate risks trade-offs and recommendations clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners

Meeting Customer Demand

• Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure capacity and wafer supply align with customer needs
• Balance competing priorities to optimize product-level business outcomes
• Drive alignment between commercial goals and manufacturing realities

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Management Operations Supply Chain Engineering Marketing or a related field
• 10 years of experience in business management operations supply/demand planning or product line management (semiconductor industry preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in forecasting supply-demand balancing and capacity planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical structured approach
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the semiconductor or memory interface market
• Familiarity with wafer fabrication and assembly/test capacity constraints
• Marketing or product marketing exposure with an understanding of customer demand dynamics
• MBA or equivalent business/operations qualification
