Staff Engineer

What Youll Do

• Design and engineer site layouts drainage utilities and roadways.
• Interpret zoning ordinances and regulatory requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle from conceptual design to construction oversight.
• Collaborate with architects planners environmental consultants and other specialists to deliver cohesive client-focused solutions.
• Promote innovative and sustainable design practices including green infrastructure and smart growth strategies.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in land development and civil site design.
• Working towards licensure and/or are an EIT or PE is preferred (SC and/or NC).
• Strong knowledge of site design stormwater management and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to engage with clients and project stakeholders.
