What youll do:

As an IT Staff Engineer I youll work in a mid-level role with proficiency in one or more key products who is responsible for managing and supporting the organizations IT infrastructure or applications. Youll identify development and support needs as well as taking on design responsibilities supporting project tasks. As a IT Staff Engineer I youll facilitate dialogue and activities while also ensuring team collaboration.
  • Take assignments that can be worked on individually without supervision and manage work effort from concept to completion.
  • Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
  • Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business Addition will layout reference architecture and visual diagrams that capture work.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies procedures and industry standards including reviewing and refining IT control enhancements.
  • Strong administrative and engineering knowledge of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is required
  • Administrative knowledge of Nerdio tools to manage AVD and Intune
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra/Azure AD
  • Works with leaders stakeholders and IT partners to understand business requirements and help resolve systems issues
  • Reviews existing integration capabilities automation options and proposed solution designs for feasibility cost and functionality in coordination with internal departments
  • Performs installation configuration testing and maintenance of operating systems software and systems management tools
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of policies for application deployment device compliance and security configurations.
  • Helps assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and contributes to improvements where appropriate
  • Collaborates on configuration design and implementation activities to support End User Computing business needs
  • Monitors and tests system performance and helps prepare performance statistics and reports as needed
  • Supports the banks commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

What youll need:

  • 5 years of related experience in IT App Support IT Development IT Networking or similar field.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology required or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Intermediate to advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake technical reviews and architectural compliance.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
  • Experience supporting the design implementation and operation of software systems applications and related infrastructure solutions is preferred particularly within End User Server or Cloud environments
  • Strong experience with systems planning security principles and general software management and hardware best practices
  • Certifications such as Microsoft AZURE Fundamentals (AZ-900) PowerShell MECM Intune Cloud Certification are strongly preferred or equivalent experience in using/supporting the associated tools
  • Strong ability to communicate across all levels of the organization. Must be able to clearly explain technical ideas and concepts to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Strong knowledge and experience in a wide range of technologies such as Microsoft Windows Intune Active Directory AZURE VDI user and group management etc.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and GPO distribution
  • Strong experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager or MECM to create and deploy packages for Windows
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to provide clear instructions
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
