Staff Development and OutreachThe Staff Development Coordinator oversees part-time employee onboarding training and development initiatives for University Recreation Wellness with a focus on fostering student staff growth engagement and success. This position designs and implements development programming leads department-wide staff recognition and leadership initiatives and supports employee communications and advisory board efforts. The role also manages training processes employee records and compliance-related hiring support for 400 hourly staff while serving as a primary resource for student employee inquiries. Additionally the coordinator assists with recruitment strategies budget management assessment efforts and the development of short- and long-term goals related to staff development and departmental success.

Regular reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial collaborative working relationships.
