As a Staff Audit you will serve as a subject-matter expert in the field leading large audit scopes with limited oversight. You will apply deep audit expertise with limited supervision and help raise the bar across .
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in audit leading large scopes with limited oversight.
- Lead complex risk-based audits and SOX controls testing.
- Work closely with SOX compliance.
- Drive standardized audit methodology and analytics.
- Own components of the audit plan and reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors on complex matters.
- Mentor mid-level auditors.
What Youll Bring
- 812 years of audit experience as a recognized subject-matter expert.
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Deep expertise in internal audit including risk-based audit planning SOX testing controls assessment and audit reporting.
- Experience with SOX compliance internal-controls testing and remediation.
- Experience with risk-based audit planning and enterprise risk assessment.
- Experience executing audit fieldwork walkthroughs and findings documentation.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite required.
- Experience in energy infrastructure or other regulated or capital-intensive industries (preferred).
- CPA CIA or CISA certification (preferred).
