Staff Attorney or Senior Staff Attorney

Litigation: Develop new litigation ideas and manage the day-to-day in ongoing litigation including via research and drafting communicating with clients and coordinating with co-counsel.

Legal & Regulatory Strategy: Develop and implement legal strategies that advance our clients policy objectives across a range of issue areas. Draft legal content such as regulatory comments legal fact sheets legal memorandum and issue briefs.

Substantive Expertise: Closely follow legal and policy developments political news and industry trends. Must have demonstrated experience in mastering new issue areas quickly.

Client Relations & Project Management: Contribute to multiple client teams cultivating external relationships and coordinating internal workflow. This includes supporting senior team members with day-to-day client work and tracking deliverables from conception to execution. Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership required. Membership in the D.C. bar or ability to become a member required.

A minimum of four years of legal experience. Federal clerkship preferred but not required.

Litigation experience strongly preferred; understanding of constitutional law and administrative law preferred but not required.

Exceptional legal research writing and editing skills with a track record of producing high-quality legal documents.

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to quickly translate legal complexity for diverse audiences.

Ability to think creatively to address complex issues.
