Job Summary

Staff Accountant St. Louis MO

Were currently partnered with a top public accounting firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their public accounting career who wants to gain hands-on experience across both tax and audit while working in a collaborative growth-focused environment.

What youll be doing:
  • Assisting with audit review and compilation engagements
  • Preparing tax returns for individuals partnerships corporations and fiduciaries
  • Preparing client financial statements
  • Supporting senior staff with engagement planning and execution
  • Communicating with clients and internal teams in a professional manner
  • Assisting with special projects and firm initiatives
What theyre looking for:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting (150 credit hours preferred)
  • CPA or on track toward CPA certification
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and basic audit/tax concepts
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Motivated team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Compensation:

$60000 $75000 base bonus potential
