This position will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks including financial record-keeping reconciliations month-end close financial statement preparation and reporting. As a fast-growing company in a developing niche industry the ideal applicant should possess strong problem-solving skills be highly organized self-motivated and have a background and education in finance or and updating accounting records: This involves recording financial transactions categorizing them accurately and ensuring data integrity within the accounting financial statements and reports: The staff accountant will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements. The staff accountant will also be involved in creating ad hoc reports such as variance analysis or budget budgets and creating expense reports: Assisting with budgeting processes analyzing financial data to identify spending trends and preparing expense general ledger accounts: Regularly building and comparing statements with internal accounting records to identify and rectify any discrepancies is essential for ensuring financial preparation and compliance: The staff accountant may assist with tasks related to tax preparation ensuring adherence to tax regulations and filing support for audits: The staff accountant may be involved in preparing documentation and assisting with procedures during external updated on accounting standards and regulations: Continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest accounting principles and industry regulations is accounting software: Proficiency in accounting software is essential for efficiently performing many of the tasks mentioned aboveQualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Accounting Finance or EconomicsTwo years of accounting experience preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesHighly proficient in Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
