• Driveaccurateandtimelyfinancial reporting by ensuring accounting records align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) regulatoryrequirementsand Global Payments policies.

• Own the preparation and review of journal entries that support reliable financial results and strengthen reporting integrity.

• Deliveraccurategeneral ledger reconciliationsidentifydiscrepanciesand resolve issues through detailed analysis that protects financial accuracy.

• Influence month-end close success by driving completion of key accounting activities whilemaintainingqualityaccuracyand deadlines.

• Build strong partnerships across departments to improve financial transparency strengthenprocessesand enable better business decisions.

• Develop a deep understanding of operational processes behind assigned accounts and use that insight to improve financial outcomes.

• Identifyopportunities to enhance accounting processes recommendimprovementsand contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Contribute to audit readiness and special projects that strengthen controls support businessobjectivesand create long-term value for Global Payments.

What you bring

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance and 3 to 4 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices with a strong understanding of financial reporting fundamentals.

• Experience analyzing financial dataidentifyingissuesand applying critical thinking to develop effective solutions.

• Strong organizationalcommunicationand prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiencywith Microsoft ExcelWordand Outlook.

• A proactive detail-orientedand results-focused approach with the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.

• A positive adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvementcollaborationand delivering excellent internal client experiences.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Financial software.

• Experience in the credit card processing or bankcard industry.

• 5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
