Job Purpose:
The Staff Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy integrity and timeliness of Guidons financial information. This position is responsible for supporting the monthly close process maintaining the general ledger preparing reconciliations and financial analyses and continuously improving accounting processes and addition to core accounting responsibilities the Staff Accountant serves as a trusted partner to Project Managers by providing financial guidance throughout the project lifecycle helping ensure sound project financial management accurate reporting and informed business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail collaboration and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial support across the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 25 years of accounting experience with public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups formulas)

- Experience in professional services architecture engineering or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with project accounting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
- Experience working with multi-entity organizations.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint Unanet or similar.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups formulas)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post complex journal entries andmaintainsupporting documentation
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Assistwith month-end and year-end close processes to ensureaccurateandtimelyfinancial reporting
- Analyze financial resultsidentifytrends or unusual variances and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for monthly and annual reports and tax filings
- Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules including depreciation and amortization
- Review accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance
- Assistwith cash management activities including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting for several accounts
- Develop and improve accounting processes controls and documentation
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial analysis initiatives
- Work collaboratively with other accounting staff
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to Project Managers by providing guidance on project financials contract administration invoicing collections and project setup throughoutaprojectslifecycle
