Job Summary

  • Prepare and record journal entries and perform account reconciliations to support the monthly quarterly and annual financial close process.
  • Maintain accounting records and supporting schedules for assigned corporate balance sheet and income statement accounts ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Support accounting and reporting for fixed assets leases debt equity transactions payroll and bonus accruals contingent liabilities and other corporate accounting activities.
  • Assist with accounting for acquisitions including purchase accounting entries and post-acquisition balance sheet integration.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reconciliations to support management reporting audits and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including FP&A Treasury Payroll Human Resources Legal and Operations to ensure accurate and timely accounting.
  • Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes strengthen internal controls and increase the efficiency of the month-end close process.
  • Participate in special projects system implementations and other corporate finance initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other accounting and financial reporting duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
  • 1-4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Public accounting or corporate accounting experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or multi-entity organization experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Knowledge of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with lease accounting (ASC 842) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables XLOOKUP and complex formulas.
  • Experience with ERP and financial management systems (NetSuite Workday Adaptive Analytics and Leasequery a plus)
  • Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location healthcare environment.
