Staff Accountant

Location: Bolton MA (100% On-Site)

Department: Finance

Reports To: Controller / VP Finance

Headwall Photonics is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative fast-paced manufacturing and technology environment and are passionate about accuracy problem-solving and continuous improvement wed love to hear from you.

• Manage accounts payable including invoice processing vendor payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting records.
• Assist with financial reporting budgeting payroll accounting and audit preparation.
• Support tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Partner with teams across the organization to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and ERP systems (Exact MAX) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
