Job Summary
NaphCarehas an excellent opportunity for aAR Specialist to join ourCorporate Headquarters in Birmingham Al.We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our accounting team. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing customer invoicing monitoring account activity and support overall financial operations. This position is on-site.

- Prepare and issue monthly invoices to clients according to contract terms and billing schedules.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Generate and distribute customer statements and account summaries as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare AR-related reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and resolve customer account issues.
- Support audit requests by providing documentation and account information as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
- 2 years of accounts receivable billing or accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and AR processes.
- Experience with contract billing and account reconciliation.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities and strong follow-through skills.
