SRE Engineer with Java

Location: Charlotte NC - Hybrid (3 full days in office required)

About the Role

Document Generation team is seeking aSenior Software Engineer( IT Onshore Band 4) to participate in the full system development lifecycle (SDLC) of enterprise applications that supporthighvolume document generation processing printing and electronic/postal deliveryfor the bank.

The team owns and supports critical document delivery infrastructure operating acrossWindows Linux and OpenShift (OCP)platforms.

Immediate Focus

The initial assignment will support themigration of Linux and Windows servers running OpenText Exstreamfromlegacy data centers to new data centers including:

• Server and application migration activities
• Middlewarepatching and upgrades
• OngoingUI maintenance and enhancements
• Operational stability and performance support during and after migration

Key Responsibilities

• Participate inendtoend SDLC activitiesincluding design development testing deployment and production support
• Develop and support applications related todocument composition generation and delivery
• Performapplicationside administrationfor Linux and Windows environments
• Support and enhanceJavabased fullstack applications
• Collaborate in anAgile environment ensuring delivery aligns withWells Fargo Technology SDLC standards
• Work across multiple platforms and technologies while managingmultiple priorities simultaneously
• Partner with infrastructure platform and QA teams to ensurehigh availability resiliency and performance
• Contribute toautomation monitoring and deployment best practices

Desired and Good to Have Qualifications

• Seniorlevel software engineering experiencewith strong SDLC fundamentals and Agile delivery
• Linux and Windows applicationside administration
• Shell scripting(KSH or BSH) Python
• Tomcat and Jboss
• SQLand relational database experience
• Java fullstack development experience including:
  • Java Spring / Spring Boot
  • Hibernate /JPA (Java Persistence API)
• Experience withSQL databasessuch asPostgreSQLand/orSQL Server
• Experience working inenterprisescale highvolume systems
• Experience withOpenText Exstream batch and real time server administration highly preferred
• UI development experience (Angular and/or React)
• Distributed systems and messaging includingKafka with AVRO
• Cloudnative and containerized environments:

• Middleware and platform experience:
