Sr. Systems Engineer, Body Controls

We are seeking a talented and driven Systems Engineer focusing on body controls to join our this role you will drive the design development and validation of body domain systems ensuring they meet functionality safety and compliance requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance the user experience and align with our commitment to innovation and quality.

• Develop and document scope requirements and attributes for vehicle features vehicle control systems and internally developed controller components

• Guide feature-level requirement decomposition and traceability into all respective systems

• Support feature verification test case definition and ensure traceability to all respective requirements

• Ensure requirement traceability through the development lifecycle

• Ensure vehicle quality through functional analysis using hierarchical DFMEA

• Interface with cross-functional stakeholders

• Contribute towards functional safety concepts (FuSa)

• Contribute towards electrical architecture decisions

• Design system control concepts

• Compose state sequence and/or flow diagrams

• Support troubleshooting issues found during integration manufacturing and service

• Minimum of B.S. in Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with systems design and integration

• Requirement management tool experience (such as Jama Polarion & DOORS)

• Experience with power electronic validation efforts at different test levels (vehicle systems SIL & HIL)

• Experience with DFMEA and associated tools (IQRM Plato)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment

• Self-motivated - demonstrated ability to set direction and guide a team towards it

• Strong project management leadership and communication skills

Full-time positions include base salary eligibility for an annual performance bonus and eligibility for equity.
