Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory)

The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory) supporting the modernization and operations of the Distributed Ground System (DGS) at Langley AFB in Hampton this role youll work in a highly technical missiondriven environment where your expertise directly enhances system readiness and performance. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate a virtualized data center environment utilizing VMware and Dell/EMC server and storage technologies.

• Install support and maintain serversincluding performance tuning system-wide configuration and storage allocation.

• Protect system integrity confidentiality and availability through robust patch management antivirus oversight and data backup/restoration.

• Diagnose and resolve service outages technical inquiries and system-related issues.

• Conduct system analysis and implement updates to keep technologies modern and effective.

• Perform routine system health checks across processes services networks and storage.

• Update documentation support configuration management and resolve reported issues.

• Partner with the security team on upgrades compliance and system security initiatives.

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support personnel.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT/System Administration experience

• Security certification

• Experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft Server 2019 Microsoft Windows 11 Active Directory Group Policy DNS or VMware
