Sr. Specialist Information Security

As a Senior Specialist on our Information Security Team youll play a critical role in protecting Nasdaqs platforms and systems by discovering security vulnerabilities and delivering security solutions across our software development and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments penetration tests red team exercises and risk evaluations across systems networks and applications of varying complexity.

• Detect security vulnerabilities and help design and maintain security aspect of the solutions across new and existing applications systems architecture and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Identify and remediate complex system vulnerabilities including web application threats malicious code and network-level exposures across applications.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance team productivity and evaluate emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in security practices.

• Prepare security risk analysis reports and develop response procedures to support informed decision-making across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Active certification from a recognized security body (SANS OffSec or ISC2).

• 5 years of experience in application security information security or a related discipline.

• Proven ability to analyze complex system vulnerabilities and develop effective technical remediation strategies

• Strong understanding of web application security threats and secure software development practice.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across cross-functional teams including technology compliance and risk.

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern application development practices.

• Track record of integrating security practices within agile or continuous delivery workflow

This position will be located in Philadelphia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office subject to change providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
