Sr. Solutions Architect III (6779)

As a Sr. Solutions Architect (Cloud)youll design implement and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple domains (IL5 to IL6).

What youll do:

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native architectures including microservices serverless computing and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• You will mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of cloud engineers reviewing their work and helping them solve complex technical challenges.
• You will engage with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions
• You will troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Youll also need to stay current on evolving cloud technologies and compliance standards.

What youll need to succeed:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
• 10 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role with a strong emphasis on cloud-based solution design and architecture.
• Extensive experience building and leading AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6) simultaneously.
• In-depth understanding of cloud architecture patterns microservices serverless computing containers (Docker Kubernetes) and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python Java or JavaScript.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a track record of developing innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
• Current certifications to meet 8140/8570 standards (e.g. Security or above).

SALARY RANGE: $206000 - $294000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

• The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
• The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
• Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
• This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
• Performance-based bonuses
• Company-paid training and/or certifications
• Referral bonuses
