Sr Software Engineer Battery HIL Simulation & Integration

Job Description

DUTIES: Lead the creation integration and maintenance of simulation models including plant models sensor/actuator models serial data networks and controller representations. Develop and maintain Battery HIL models and benches supporting BECM cell balancing contactor logic diagnostics thermal systems and high voltage architecture behavior. Plan and coordinate model updates hardware upgrades and test environment rollout to support new features new programs and SDV2 architecture changes. Ensure benches meet program timing support feature development and enable early detection of defects before vehicle integration. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Electrical Engineering Software Engineering Computer Engineering or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer SIL Software in the Loop Engineer HIL Simulation & Integration Engineer High Voltage Simulation Engineer or related occupation. Three (3) years of experience with: Complex design of models with real time simulation; and HIL bench tools including ETAS INCA Lauterbach CAN (CANalyzer or Vehicle Spy) and Python. Two (2) years of experience with: HIL design and integration; Modeling and testing electrical short circuit and fault scenarios; and Creating in model the simulated sensors and actuators (voltage current temperature) and synchronizing the physical hardware with simulated plant models.
