We are supporting a well-established locally owned HVAC company known for honest service quality workmanship and strong customer relationships. This is a customer-facing position for an experienced technician who takes pride in solving problems communicating clearly and helping homeowners make informed decisions.
Approximately 85% of the work will support residential customers with the remaining 15% involving light commercial systems. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing organization that offers training advancement and potential ownership opportunities for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose service maintain and repair residential heating cooling ventilation and refrigeration systems.
Inspect equipment identify the source of system failures and provide customers with clear repair or replacement recommendations.
Present service options professionally while following the companys established customer service and sales process.
Document findings recommendations completed work and customer communication accurately within the companys service management system.
Assist with HVAC installations light commercial service and related plumbing work when additional field support is needed.
Qualifications
At least three years of HVAC service experience preferably supporting residential heating and air conditioning systems.
Working knowledge of furnaces air conditioners heat pumps refrigeration systems thermostats and related electrical and mechanical components.
Professional appearance and the ability to communicate effectively with customers in person over the phone and through email.
Clean driving record and the ability to travel to customer locations within approximately 75 miles of Salt Lake City.
Self-sufficient and comfortable independently diagnosing problems completing repairs and managing assigned service calls.
Experience using ServiceTitan or a comparable field service management platform is preferred.
Nexstar Network training or similar customer service and sales training is beneficial.
Universal EPA certification plumbing experience and any applicable HVAC master journeyman or contractor licenses are strongly preferred.
