Job Description Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project setup implementation and execution through completion of construction and/or qualification. Will assist Programs & Projects (P&P) Market Leader and Senior Leadership in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards and excellence while informing the Manager and/or Market Lead of all projects internal and client issues affecting the perception and reputation of Cushman & Wakefield. Will provide project management experience to designated projects and assignments for a particular client account property portfolio or large facility/complex through interaction with the client property or facility management team and project management staff

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the project strategy development with Directors and executes withinbusinessunit of C&W and client.

  • Manages overall project costsschedulerisksandscopeexecution and develops project charter and execution plan.

  • Lead and schedule meetings prepare agendasdevelopandmaintainmaster project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall projectobjectivesand client needs are met

  • Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients Account/Portfolio Manager and property/facility management team at all project phases including conceptual schematic designdevelopmentand construction phases

  • Assistin theselectionand contracting process and oversight of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project. Ifappropriate/applicableintegrate the impact of other Project Management and C&W components including brokerage (work letter development) building operations M.E.P. etc. as they relate to each project and project phase

  • Review requisitions change orders and other invoices associated with the project;adviseand counsel the Account/Portfolio Manager and building/facility management team

  • Directlyparticipatein the marketing and presentation of services to clients

  • Organizes people and resourcesalong with operating withinofficeordepartment.May supervise and manage the performance development work quality reporting and activities of Project Managers Space Planners and CAD Operators

  • Provide all necessary documentation and reports to the client and building/facility management team

  • Cooperate with other building/facility personnel to achieve corporate goals andobjectivesas to quality servicecostand profit

  • Report to the Account/Portfolio Manager and senior building/facility managerregardingmajor problems and findings and results achieved along with specific complete and comprehensive recommendations

  • Provide theappropriate documentationand obtain the approvals necessary in advance of making organizational changes actions planned implying commitments and expendituresin excess ofapproved budget

  • May betoestablishgoals andobjectiveswith timetables for the organizational unit and sub-units supervised

  • May beto select and hire subordinates; delegate to each necessary authority and responsibility for performance of assigned functions

  • May beto train developmotivateand discipline subordinates as necessary to meet established goals; review and appraise their work performance

  • Implement government laws and regulations and adheres toestablishedrulings of government authorities

Important Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 yearsdirectly relatedexperience in anengineering/constructionproject accountability role

  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management capacity especially experience in leading motivating and developing employees; upwards of 10 years or more or related experience a bonus

  • Experience within the construction industry

  • History in client relations client management contractnegotiationsand consulting skills

Additional Qualifications:

  • Advanced project management skills withdemonstratedunderstanding of project management business

  • Ability to support and/or lead business development initiatives as assigned or requested.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate analyzed data to client and project team to achieve project goals

  • Strong working knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings and construction concepts.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering Architecture Construction Management BusinessAdministrationor related area

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 136000.00 - $160000.00
