This role is responsible for leading moderate programs projects and/or strategic process development and execution. A Sr Project Manager is also responsible for executing project management activities. Other responsibilities include representing program/project management functions for assigned activities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluates determines and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program/project elements.
- Provides expertise to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to program/project issues.
- Develops cost scope and schedule framework for projects and program activities; manages and intervenes as necessary to ensure delivery to cost scope and schedule agreements.
- Drives primary support and guidance to the financial planning monitoring scheduling and preparation and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning.
- Coaches and Mentors program/project managers and other team members.
- 5 years of relevant experience in project planning engineering of products or processes or contract management.
- Bachelors degree in business Engineering or 2 additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a degree.
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Ability to travel as per business needs.
- Ability to work remote hybrid or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Advanced proficiency in Excel Power Query SQL (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Direct experience with EVM methodology and reporting is plus.
- Proven experience preparing and interpreting financial reports within a production environment.
- Familiarity with production project management and ERP systems is a plus.
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of project and program processes and principles.
- Possesses ability to communicate with multiple levels of management on program/project information within the organization.
- Possesses general knowledge of supply chain management demand management contract management and financial Management.
- Possesses Project Management Institute (PMI) and Agile certifications.
