Are YOU someone that excels at problem solving and building strong relationships CAES is seeking an experienced Sr Production Plannerfor its Missiles business unit. The successful candidate will plan schedule coordinate and track the flow of hardware and material throughout the manufacturing process including fabrication assembly test and shipment; position controls jobs of moderate complexity with multi-level programs. This individual must be organized and results driven with great problem solving and analytical skills.

The Production Control team applies leading edge theories and techniques to resolve complex and often unusual tactical issues impacting the department and programs. The Materials Planner will work on problems of project critical scope where there is significant impact beyond the confines of their own job and department. This position is located in San Jose CA. However we cannot provide relocation for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill demand requirements by examining Material Requirements Planning (MRP) indications
• Communicate material availability to procurement and ensure that need dates are met to release production orders
• Maintain configuration and serial control of production hardware
• Ensures the generation of pick lists packing slips and other shipping document as required
• Flag and communicate production problems
• Responsible for requesting Customer Source Inspection (CSI) of hardware shipments
• Assure that planning data items are properly maintained in SAP and are compatible with applicable program plans and schedules
• Support production programs by working with the program managers and production leads
• Collaborate in team meetings and activities
• Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in a manufacturing environment
• This position requires access to technology materials software or hardware that is controlled by US export order to be eligible for this position you must be a US Person under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).

WE VALUE

• Bachelors Degree.
• Experience with Supply Chain concepts such as Purchasing Logistics etc
• Intermediate Computer skills including Excel and Word
• Excellent organizational presentation and communication skills
• MRP Experience: SAP or Oracle experience preferred.
• Advanced to Expert level in Excel and Power Point.
• Manufacturing Electronic or Aerospace industry background.
• Knowledge of FAR or recent experience supporting a government contractor environment.

The annual base salary range for this position is $92000 - $115000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.
