At Collins Aerospace ourMulti-Domain Assured Navigation and Timing Applications(MANTA) organization is a growing business area in need of a qualified electrical engineer to support development and factory transition ofstate-of-the-artnavigation products for the Government marketplace. The ideal candidate shall have a well-rounded background; one that hasdemonstratedexperience or training in multiple aspects of electrical engineering such as RF digital and analog design. This is an individual contributor role in which the engineer is part of a cohesive team of engineers responsible for developing key subsystemsfor the PNT product lines.

What You Will Do:
Design and development of GPS receivers
Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals
Work in a lab toaccomplishcomponentcharacterization as well as module verification and integration
Test and handle sensitive RF Hardware
Schematic capture and RF routing
Partner with interdisciplinary teams - power digital mechanical systems etc.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
The ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. government issued security clearance is. U.S. citizenship is as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with RF design and fabrication
Experience with RF test and troubleshooting
Experience with simulation of RF products
Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor DX Designer or equivalent High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) or equivalentSystemVue/Genesys or equivalent Advanced Design System (ADS) or equivalent
Qualifications We Prefer:
Mentorship or apprenticeship experience
Technical oversight responsibilities and mentoring of junior engineers
Working across domains on complex projects
Architecting and requirements definition for complex RF products
Technical experience to lead team from proposal architecture requirements design layout I&Tand production.
Background in designing for manufacturability producibility and cost yield and margin analysis
Cascade analysis and/or frequency planning
Filter design and fabrication
Scripting experience (Matlabor Python)

The salary range for this role is 145600 USD - 276800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
