The Sr. Press Operator will be primarily responsible for set-up run cleaning and general maintenance of Delta Mod-Techsmanufacturing press equipment. This position is scheduled as 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 2:30 PM to 1:30AM.
Responsibilities:
- Verify through work orders that job processes spec sheets samples proofs and drawings are correct before production run
- Maintain quality standards by checking registrationfor debris and overall print quality
- Use digital instruments and measuring devices to collect and record continuous accurate SPC data
- With minimum supervision able to identify troubleshoot and solve machine related problems such as tension pressure settings irregular ink distribution and web-breaks
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced Press Operators
- Support new product development efforts
- Detail-oriented deadline driven self-directed and organized individual
- Ensure a clean healthy and safe work environment
- Perform math functions as related to press operations
- Committed to continuous improvement
- May participate in special projects assigned
- Performs other related duties assigned

Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- 4 years experience with flexo press operation
- Experience with UV coatings adhesives or inks.
- Experience working with various substrates including paper film and poly
- Basic math and computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills
- Experience using digital instruments and measuring devices (rulers comparators calipers and gauges) to collect data.
- Ability to stand continually with frequent bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years experience with Delta Mod-Techs flexo press operation working with films and poly

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $20.13-$29.53 per hour (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location education skills and experience.
