Sr. Network Administrator Palo Alto

SYSTEMTECis seeking a Sr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia SC. Candidatewill support theday-to-dayoperation reliability and performanceofa highly availableenterprise networkenvironment. This rolewill focuson proactive monitoring incidentresolution advanced troubleshootinginfrastructure maintenance and collaboration acrosstechnical teams tomaintain dependablenetwork services.

Required Qualificationsof the Sr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of educationand professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in network operations network administration infrastructure support ora related environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 operational setting.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex networkincidents and servicedisruptions.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network monitoring maintenance andinfrastructure support.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls F5 load balancers Cisco ACI SolarWinds Cisco Catalyst Center and Nexus Insights.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting prioritization written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities while remaining effectiveduring critical incidentsand outages.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering security infrastructure and application support teams.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Sr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto:

• 8 years of experience supporting enterprise networkand infrastructure environments.
• Experience with large-scale highlyavailable network architectures.
• Experience leading operational initiatives major incident response or infrastructureenhancement efforts.
• Familiarity with Ansible GitHub and ThousandEyes.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical procedures runbooks and operational documentation.

Responsibilities of theSr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto:

• Perform routine infrastructure health checks and validate the operational status of network environments.
• Monitor network availability performance utilization and capacity while proactively identifying potential issues.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents outages service requests and break-fix issues using advanced troubleshooting androot-cause analysis.
• Implement approved network changes in accordance with established change-control and operationalprocedures.
• Support network backup and recovery activities compliance remediation and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
• Partner with cross-functional technology teams to restore services improve reliability document solutions and support continuousoperational improvement.

Work Location: Hybrid/partial onsite schedule with the team working onsiteTuesday through Thursday in Columbia SC.
