Job Description
We have a customer near El Cerrito CA who has an IMMEDIATE long-term DIRECT HIRE opening for a Sr. Mechanical Sustaining Engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position please click APPLY NOW.
In this role you will be directly involved in product improvement enhancement and upgrade for acomplete line of gas and liquid flow devices that are used for semiconductor manufacturing and similar industries. You will solve design issues using structured problem solving techniques including Fishbone Analysis 5 Whys stress analysis DFM/DFA working with suppliers and more.
- This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position and must be worked on site
- Salary Range for this position is in the $100000 to $150000K range
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BSME or MSME (preferred) and over 7 years experience working in product design and sustaining/product improvement
- Must have experience in the design of precision machined parts and complex assemblies with tight tolerances using GD&T stack-ups and engineering calculations (stress analysis etc.)
- Candidate must have experience with 3D CAD design and modeling using AUTOCAD INVENTOR SOLIDWORKS of similar
- Experience working in a hi-volume and regulated environment highly preferred (semiconductor medical aerospace automotive etc.)
- Ideal candidate will have experience with liquid/gas flow devices valves manifolds regulators or high pressure devices
- Candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment
