DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager US Tax Reportinglocatedin Raynham MA or West Chester PA or Palm Beach Gardens FL or Warsaw IN or Raritan NJ.
The Sr. Manager US Tax Reporting is a key leadership role within Finance responsible for overseeingaccurateandtimelyU.S. income tax provision and reporting activities. This role partners closely with Corporate Tax Finance and external advisors to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements while supporting business decisions through highquality tax analysis. The position offers the opportunity to shape tax reporting processes during a period of transformation and increased independence for DePuy Synthes with meaningful visibility to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of the U.S. quarterly and annual income tax provisionin accordance withU.S. GAAP and company policies.
Oversee U.S. federal andstatetax reporting including coordination of data inputs from crossfunctional Finance teams.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external audits related to U.S. tax reporting and disclosures.
Partner with Corporate Tax FP&A and Controllership to assess the tax impact of business activities restructurings and strategic initiatives.
Monitor changes in U.S. tax legislation and accounting standards assessing implications and leading implementation as needed.
Drive continuous improvement of tax reporting processes controls and documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide coaching and development to team members and contribute to a strong compliance andcontrolculture.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance ora relatedfield (required).
Masters degree in Taxation Accounting or MBA (preferred).
Experience and Skills
Typically810 years of progressive experiencein U.S. corporate income tax and tax reporting within a large complex organization or public accounting environment.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP income tax accounting and reporting requirements.
Experience leading or significantly contributing to quarterly and annual tax provision processes.
Ability to partner effectively with Finance Controllership and external advisors.
Proven analytical organizational and problemsolving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain complex tax matters to nontax stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience in a multinational or regulated industry environment.
Prior leadership or peoplemanagement experience.
Familiarity with tax provision software and large ERP systems.
Experience supporting audits and interacting with external auditors.
CPA or other relevant professionalcertification.
Other
Language: Englishproficiency.
Travel: Minimal travel may be(generally <10%).
Certifications: CPA preferred but not.
