About the Role:
The Sr. Manager Site Services is an innovative and dynamic self-starter professional who works effectively in a fast-paced collaborative and regulated environment managing workplace services throughout our portfolio while creating diverse workplace services for our teams. Our portfolio consists of leading-edge office environments micro-kitchens kitchens/cafes and a variety of technical support spaces that include R&D labs maintenance facilities charging infrastructure and campus. A detail-oriented role with strong operational and administrative knowledge extensive service contract background financial management skills and possess excellence and open customer-service abilities while engaging across all departments and cross-functional teams. Accountable for the strategic direction operational performance and continuous improvement of Workplace Services across Neurocrines campus portfolio. Establishes operational objectives service standards and workforce strategies that enhance employee experience support business continuity and ensure operational readiness. Leads the development and execution of workplace programs policies and service models that may have organization-wide impact while balancing service excellence scalability and fiscal responsibility. This role builds strategic working relationships across the organization through working closely with senior management operations colleagues finance HR and legal teams and outside vendors to ensure the integrity of Workplace Services.

Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):
  • Own the overall workplace services site services execution ensuring services standards and programs effectively support business goals employee experience and portfolio readiness

  • Serve as the strategic workplace services leader and primary advisor to executives senior leadership and business stakeholders regarding workplace operations service delivery strategies space utilization employee experience initiatives and portfolio readiness

  • Establish vendor strategy and governance models for critical workplace services providers ensuring performance risk mitigation contract compliance cost optimization and continuous service improvement across the portfolio. Accountable for workplace services operating budgets forecasting resource allocation vendor investment strategies and financial performance metrics to ensure alignment with business priorities and organizational objectives

  • Lead and develop a high-performing workplace services organization through effective talent management succession planning coaching performance management and leadership of internal staff and external service partners. Develop implement and continuously improve workplace services policies standards governance processes and operational frameworks that support organizational objectives and drive consistency across multiple campuses

  • Develop multi-year workplace services roadmaps capacity plans and operational strategies that anticipate organizational growth workplace trends and evolving business requirements

  • Responsible for signage as well as working with Corporate Communications on Corporate artwork

  • Implement move add and change management/planning and office/workstation readiness

  • Gather and disseminate lessons learned for improved team performance and continuous improvement

  • Participate in construction meetings as needed to ensure established corporate standards are followed

  • Manage all workplace services which may include food service kitchen supplies office supplies copy services record retention office reception recreation services etc.

  • Manage on site events planning and execution including owning service now process for efficient and effective services

  • Select develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration or related field AND 8 years progressive experience in office services and manufacturing R&D and commercial space real estate. OR

  • Masters degree AND 6 years of related experience as noted above OR

  • Managerial / functional management or lead experience required

  • Proven leadership skills in dynamic environments with shifting priorities effectively managing multiple stakeholder groups

  • Strong background in managing workplace operations employee services vendor relationships and cross-functional partnerships across complex portfolios

  • Expertise in budget management expense forecasting and balancing service delivery with fiscal constraints

  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in managing workflows documentation and priorities

  • Ability to develop and implement processes standards and service programs that enhance operational efficiency and performance

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience including responsibility for employee development performance management resource planning and operational results

  • Knowledge of space planning and move adds and changes management

  • Ability to manage conflict and to lead through vision and values

  • Listens well and asks questions to determine best path forward

  • Ability to gain commitment and facilitate change

  • Knowledge of office services processes and cost-containment strategies

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Proven ability to manage contractors and vendors

  • Requires broad understanding of workplace services operations and how workplace strategies service delivery models facilities operations and employee experience initiatives integrate across multiple business functions to support organizational objectives

  • Identifies and resolves technical operational and organizational problems/problems relating to own discipline

  • Serves as the workplace services functional leader influencing cross-functional decision-making and driving alignment among business stakeholders operational partners and service providers

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid process orientation

  • Ability to use time effectively and prioritize as well as manage multiple projects with time sensitive deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups competing priorities and significant organizational a pharmaceutical company such as but not limited to multiple field teams marketing marketing operations field operations IT commercial operations and compliance/legal

  • Strong contract and vendor management skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $154500.00-$211000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors such as primary work location complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and addition this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
