RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager Facilities - Project Delivery/Team Building (Sr. Manger Facilities) position.
The Metro area facilities manager position is responsible for leading managing maintaining and overseeing all aspects of facilities site operations in the Metro DC Area; supporting over 1.5M sq ft.
What You Will Do
Implementation of operations & maintenance engineering and sustainability initiatives.
Engaging with the site executive to execute site level strategies and implement workplace moves and rearranges
Partner with the Business Relationship Managers Workplace Strategy Managers and Project Delivery Managers within Facilities & Real Estate to ensure work is completed in a professional timely and cost-efficient manner.
Responsible for ensuring a safe flexible efficient and clean workplace.
Ensure the execution of day-to-day operations and ensure small demand projects are successfully completed to customer satisfaction.
Significant interactions with the local business leadership and other RTX functional organizations including Digital Technology Security Environmental Health and Safety internal customers suppliers and government compliance officials.
Support site audits and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum of 10 years experience leading a Facilities / Real Estate organization and a bachelors degree in Engineering Operations or Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
8 years experience in a fast paced high consequence environment that included multiple organizations and contractors including extensive experience building strong cross-functional teams with proven results.
8 years Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Excel Word MS Project etc.).
8 years experience negotiating difficult business challenges supplier management critical infrastructure systems operations and maintenance in a high consequence environment; organization and personnel development; operating and capital budget development and management; quality and process improvement.
3 years experience with financial management experience with a multi-million-dollar budget

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with DOD and SCI Physical Security practices Environmental Health & Safety/OHSA standards and Information Technology standards Knowledge of facility design and work management systems.
Experience with Facilities Operations and Maintenance industry Best Practices.
Demonstrates strong communication skills clearly conveying expectations priorities and organizational goals to employees at all levels.
Strong leadership by building high-performing teams establishing trust and creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported.

The salary range for this role is 145600 USD - 276800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
