Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager Close / A2Rlocatedin Raynham Massachusetts.

The Sr. Manager Close / A2Ris responsible forleading endtoend accounting close and accountingtoreporting (A2R) activities ensuringaccuratetimely and compliant financial reporting for DePuy Synthes. This role partners closely with Finance FP&A Treasury and Shared Services to strengthen close governance improve processes and support business transformation initiatives. The position plays a critical role in enabling highquality financial reporting strong internal controls and scalable accountingoperations .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee monthly quarterly and annual close processes ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Own endtoend A2R activities including journal entries reconciliations variance analysis and financial reporting.

  • Establish andmaintainstrong close governance controls and documentation to support internal and external audit requirements.

  • Partner with FP&A Treasury Tax and business teams to ensure alignment between operational activity and financial results.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline close timelines improve data quality and enhance reporting efficiency.

  • Lead coach and develop a team of accounting professionals fostering accountability collaboration and high performance.

  • Support system implementations process standardization and finance transformation initiativesimpactingA2R processes.

  • Serve as a key finance leader supporting business changes restructurings and other complex accounting matters.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance ora relatedfield (required).

  • MBA orMasters degree in Accounting or Finance(preferred).

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically requires810 yearsof progressive experience in accounting close A2R or financial reporting roles.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex close processes in a large matrixed organization.

  • Provenpeopleleadership experience including managing and developing teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with A2R transformation shared services or global accounting models.

  • Experience with ERP and financial close systems (e.g. SAP or similar platforms).

  • Background in a manufacturing medical device or healthcare environment.

  • Experience supporting audits regulatory reviews and complex accounting topics.

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification.

  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.

  • Ability to partner effectively with crossfunctional and senior stakeholders.

Other:

  • Languages:English (required).

  • Travel:Up to 1015% primarily domestic with occasional international travel.

  • Certifications:CPA or equivalent (preferred).

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122000.00 - $212750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
