One of the worlds leading and most recognized brands requires an industry-leading Assets Protection (AP) team who ensures the security of our teams vendors buildings and merchandise. Assets Protection teams function is to provide a secure environment for our team members and mitigate shortage to increase profitability in a Target distribution center. Assets Protection teams will do this by leading a physical security culture and responding to crisis events investigating and resolving theft and educating team members on operational shortage priorities.

As aSENIOR MANAGER ASSETS PROTECTIONyou will lead a project team focused on the mitigation and resolution of loss through process focused on our AP priorities. Through your leadership this team will lead the continuous improvement identification quantification and resolution of profit and reputation issues across our Fulfillment Network.

Leads the team including direct reports of exempt business and develops team members to create a positive work environment and promote personal and professional will drive and support project plans and hold partners accountable to ensure all deadlines are met. You will also lead and participate in cross-functional teams specific to your areas of responsibility to simplify processes and improve team member and guest experiences. This requires seeking feedback from our AP field and HQ leaders to gain clarity on opportunities within your areas of accountability. Last you will stay connected to relevant market and industry trends that impact AP and will enable better decision making for the AP initiatives you will support.

About you:

• 4 year college degree

• 4 years of experience in relevant business support or field support role

• Project and process management/ownership experience

• Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships at multiple levels

• Ability to influence key business partners and senior leadership

• Ability to connect projects and concepts across teams to create an informed perspective

• Ability to work independently and solve problems with limited direction

• Continual learner always seeking and evaluating solutions to improve our operations

• Microsoft Office proficient

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
