About the role:

The Accountingwill lead a team responsible for overseeing the accounting operationswithinthe Practice ManagementAccountingorganization. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence financial integrity and strategic alignment with enterprise goals. The ideal candidate will be a people-first leader with a strong command of accounting principles a passion for talent development and the ability to influence across functions.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities)

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead the monthlycloseprocess ensuringtimelyandaccuratefinancial reporting across assigned practices.
• Oversee the preparation and review of segment-level financial statements and analytics.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audit engagements including SOX compliance andRisk ControlGroup(RCG)process development.
• Drive enterprise-first thinking by aligning accounting practices with broader organizational goals and transformation initiatives.

Operational Excellence & Controls

• Manage and continuously improve departmental processes to enhance efficiency accuracy and scalability.
• Ensure a robust control environment including the development and maintenance of SOX narratives and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identifyand implement McKesson best practices to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a key contact for business leaders and customers providing financial insights and decision support.
• Facilitatetimelyandaccuratecommunication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with Controllers Accounting Managers and Senior Accountants to ensure alignment and consistency across the accounting function.

People Leadership & Talent Development

• Build and lead a high-performing team by fostering a culture of accountability empowerment and continuous improvement.
• Champion talent development by mentoring team membersidentifyinggrowth opportunities and building succession plans.
• Promote diversity of thought and inclusive leadership practices to strengthen team dynamics and innovation.

Process Transformation & Change Management

• Lead or support enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives including automation system upgrades and process redesign.
• Encourage a mindset of change readiness and adaptability within the team.
• Use data-driven insights to challenge the status quo and elevate the standard of excellence across the organization.

Basic Requirements:

Education/Training

• Bachelors degreerequiredand9years of accounting and reporting experienceand 1 years ofsupervisory and/or management yearsrequiredif has relevantMastersqualifications
• Advanced degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• CPA preferred.

Critical Skills/Experience:

Business Experience

• Candemonstratemastery knowledge level of full cycle accounting
• Expert-level excel experience
• Experience reachingthe desiredaudience able to train/coach others
• Effective oral and written communication including presentation delivery to leaders
• Project/Process Management Must have a demonstrated ability to lead projects or handle large complex processes. Also must have a mindset that is oriented to constantly drive process improvement with an enterprise-first mindset
• Building & Managing Organizational Talent Attract selectand develop the highest caliber of talent available. Consistently places the right people in the right positions andassuresthey are successful in their roles
• Proven ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• PeopleSoft and SAP experience extremely helpful
• Essbase and HFM experience beneficial
• Excellent oral and written communications skills to effectively interact with various audiences

Salary: Min 105900.00-Mid 141200.00-Max 176500.00 USD with 15% MIP
