Sr. IT Project Operations Manager (Financial & IT Operations) [W2 ROLE] (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid Vernon CA (Greater Los Angeles Area) (1 day/week onsite; candidates located elsewhere in California who can travel onsite periodically will be considered)

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Operations Manager with a strong background in IT Financial Management PMO Operations Vendor Management and Executive Reporting. This role will be responsible for establishing financial governance across IT projects managing budgets and forecasts overseeing vendor contracts and ensuring operational excellence within the IT PMO.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing enterprise IT financial operations and collaborating with executive leadership Finance Procurement and Legal teams.

• Lead IT financial governance including budget planning forecasting accruals capitalization assessments and portfolio financial reporting.
• Partner with Finance to manage purchase orders contract renewals vendor invoices and spend approvals.
• Maintain accurate CapEx vs. OpEx classifications and ensure audit readiness.
• Develop and maintain rolling IT budget forecasts to support business planning.
• Manage vendor lifecycle activities including contracts renewals SOWs pricing and financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and vendor spend reduction across IT applications infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards covering project financials portfolio performance resource utilization vendor spend and cost savings.
• Monitor project financial health identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT Finance Procurement Legal and executive stakeholders to improve financial processes and governance.

• 8 years of experience in IT Project Management IT PMO IT Financial Management or Project Operations.
• 7 years managing IT financial programs within large enterprise PMOs.
• Strong experience with:
  • IT budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial planning and accruals
  • Asset capitalization (CapEx/OpEx)
  • Portfolio financial management
  • Vendor and contract management
  • Purchase orders invoices SOWs and contract renewals
• Experience working with enterprise IT environments including infrastructure SaaS applications and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to prepare executive-level presentations dashboards and financial reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience supporting IT organizations through mergers acquisitions or organizational transformations.
• Experience with cost rationalization and IT portfolio optimization.
• Background working with Finance Procurement and Legal teams on enterprise IT initiatives.
