Position Summary
- Under moderate supervision performs a range of diagnostic imaging procedures across Angiography Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology and serves as team lead.
- Partners with physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions while ensuring patients and families are clearly informed about procedures and special requirements.

What Youll Do
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Angiography Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology settings
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures
- Communicate procedure details preparation requirements and expectations to patients and families
- Maintain compliance with safety regulatory and quality standards
INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY PROCEDURES:
- Central venous access and vascular access line placements (PICC lines ports tunneled catheters dialysis access interventions)
- Image-guided drain placements (abscess drains biliary drains nephrostomy tubes pleural and peritoneal drains)
- Image-guided biopsies (liver kidney lung lymph node soft tissue)

NEURO INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY PROCEDURES:
- Cerebral and spinal angiography
- Endovascular aneurysm coiling and flow diversion procedures
- Stroke thrombectomy cases (mechanical thrombectomy)
- AVM and AVF embolization
- Carotid and intracranial stenting procedures
- Acute neurovascular emergency interventions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or equivalent (2 years of college); specialized field knowledge required
- 5 years of relevant imaging experience
- ActiveARRT Certification
- ActiveMaryland State License
- CurrentAmerican Heart Association CPR Certification
