Responsibilities & Qualifications The Sr. Manager Corporate Human Resources Business Partner & Workplace Operations provides strategic Human Resources leadership and operational oversight for Corporate functions while leading the Corporate HRBP team and Workplace Operations teams supporting Novelis Atlanta Headquarters along with Kennesaw Georgia and Spokane Washington Research & Technology (R&T) facilities. The role serves as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders on organizational effectiveness workforce planning talent management organizational planning employee engagement and change management while ensuring the delivery of safe efficient and employee-focused workplace operations across key corporate and innovation sites. This position is accountable for aligning people strategies and workplace services with strategic objectives driving leadership effectiveness strengthening organizational capability and enhancing the overall employee experience. Responsibilities Strategic Human Resources Leadership Create and implement Human Resources strategies aligned with Corporate and enterprise strategic objectives. Provide insights and recommendations using workforce metrics talent data and business trends. Ensure consistent implementation of Human Resources programs policies and processes. Talent Management & Succession Planning Lead talent review succession planning and leadership development processes across assigned Corporate functions. Facilitate identification and development of high-potential talent and successors for critical roles. Partner with leaders to address organizational capability and talent pipeline needs. Improve organizational readiness through effective development and retention strategies. Employee Engagement & Organizational Effectiveness Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement culture inclusion and organizational performance. Analyze engagement survey results and facilitate action planning efforts. Coach leaders on building high-performing accountable and inclusive teams. Lead organizational design and structure reviews to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Employee Relations & Risk Management Provide guidance and consultation regarding employee relations matters and organizational risk. Lead or support investigations and resolution of sensitive workplace issues. Maintain compliance with company policies employment laws and regulatory requirements. Coach leaders through performance management and difficult employee situations. Corporate HRBP Team Leadership Lead develop and mentor the Corporate HRBP team. Establish priorities goals and performance expectations for assigned staff. Ensure consistent delivery of HRBP support across Corporate functions. Build organizational capability within the HR team through coaching development and succession planning. Workplace Operations & Facilities Leadership Lead workplace operations and facilities management activities supporting the Atlanta Headquarters Kennesaw Georgia office and Spokane Washington Research & Technology facilities. Ensure effective delivery of workplace services that support employee productivity collaboration safety and engagement. Oversee facility operations vendor performance space planning workplace enhancements and site services. Partner with EHS Security Procurement Finance and external service providers to ensure operational excellence. Lead facility improvement projects renovations space utilization efforts and workplace modernization initiatives. Support business continuity emergency preparedness and workplace readiness activities. Maintain compliance with applicable workplace safety environmental and security requirements. Change Management & Transformation Lead organizational change initiatives impacting Corporate functions and workplace operations. Support leaders through restructuring efforts organizational redesigns consolidations and workforce transitions. Develop strategies that promote understanding adoption and sustainability of organizational change. Minimum Qualifications Advanced knowledge of talent management organizational development workforce planning employee relations compensation performance management succession planning and change management. Comprehensive understanding of organizational operational financial and strategic business drivers and their impact on workforce decisions. Ability to assess organizational issues identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions aligned with strategic objectives. Strong capability to influence senior leaders facilitate difficult discussions manage competing priorities and drive organizational outcomes. Knowledge of workplace operations facilities services vendor management workplace planning security safety requirements and employee experience practices. Ability to lead large-scale initiatives involving multiple collaborators competing objectives and changing business conditions. Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration Organizational Development or related field. Minimum ten (10) years of progressive Human Resources experience including at least 3 years in a senior or lead HRBP role supporting complex fast-paced organizations. Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders. Experience leading teams and influencing organizational strategy. Strong employee relations organizational effectiveness and talent management expertise. Experience leading organizational change initiatives. Strong communication facilitation consulting and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Human Resources Business Administration Organizational Development or related field. SHRM-SCP SPHR or equivalent professional certification. Experience supporting corporate functions within a global manufacturing organization. Experience leading workplace operations facilities management or employee workplace experience initiatives. Experience facilitating enterprise talent and succession planning processes.
