The Opportunity
In Abbotts Electrophysiology (EP) business were advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
Our Austin TX office currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Global Revenue Management Analyst within our Global Strategic Pricing & Commercial Effectiveness group.
- Developing refining and maintaining an end-to-end Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) process to ensure new and existing databases analytical tools and the data they contain are accurate.
- Building Power BI dashboards that provide key business insights to assist senior leadership in strategic decision-making.
- Driving the development of new processes and tools aimed at supporting Abbotts financial goals and analytical capabilities.
- Partnering with various functional groups on global pricing and Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) studies and actions.
- Developing financial models in support of region- country- and customer-level ASP and model mix analysis.
- Supporting the strategic pricing and execution of new medical device product launches.
- Managing pre- and post-product launch analytics (customer pricing segmentation monitoring and reporting).
- Providing analytical support for various functional teams within the Global Strategic Pricing & Commercial Effectiveness group.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to cross-train peers.
- Managing Product Life Cycle (PLC) activities for products slated for retirement (serving as a business unit advisor on effective process management for revenue recognition margin capture and scrap minimization).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (data modeling and visualization).
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate) and SQL Server.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions Power Query etc.) and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Database management experience (Fabric Azure on-premises environments SSIS) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including experience working with large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex and at times ambiguous problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree (e.g. MBA or STEM-related field).
- Advanced Power BI data modeling and visualization experience.
- Experience in the medical device or diagnostics industry.

The base pay for this position is
$99300.00 $198700.00In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
