Sr. Financial Analyst, E2E North America FP&A

North America End-to-end (E2E) FP&A sits at the center of Amazons Supply Chain. Youll have the opportunity to shape one of the largest fastest supply chains on the planet. We collaborate across Amazons end-to-end Supply Chain to ensure fast and on-time delivery speed at the right cost structure. Our Finance team works closely with operations and finance leaders to surface insights track performance and drive analysis to optimize capacity planning supply chain network design transportation execution and customer experience to deliver for our customers.

E2E North America (NA) seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst who is a creative problem solver to surface actionable insights and drive performance. This role will own the E2E financial planning for NA Operations and partner closely across Customer Fulfillment Inbound Transportation and Outbound Transportation to consolidate financials and craft the E2E story. This is a high visibility role frequently crafting documents for reviews with the VP of NA Operations. This roles primary responsibility is to own NA Operations cost and KPI reporting by developing and surfacing insights maintaining a pulse on the key operations metrics and drive the narrative of how they impact financial performance. This role will partner closely with a broad range of global finance and business leaders across Operations and Retail categories. The role also has stakeholders in capacity planning teams and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This role designs develops and maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive strategic supply chain initiatives with business and finance partners by presenting financial and non-financial trade-offs using data. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
- Improve the NA FP&A processes to simplify and improve accuracy in the consolidation of planning and reporting.
- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the globe.
- With Controllership as the top priority you identify resolve or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues. You improve controls to address financial risk and support frugality.

- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 3 years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 3 years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
