Sr Epic Application Analyst (EPIC ASAP)

Duties:

• Translates user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions.
• Performs project reviews and process walk throughs incorporating technical clinical and business solutions that will enhance user user productivity and department service levels.
• Responsible for providing technical knowledge in the support of Epic as well as other software applications and operating systems.
• Acts as an advocate for setting and enforcing technical development application support and information management standards within and outside of the Information Systems Department.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and techniques in supporting development projects and complex problem-solving efforts involving Epic and other applications.

Must-Haves:

- EPIC ASAP Certification if not Clindoc or Ambulatory certifications as a backup

- Someone with experience working with an emergency department

- At least 4 years of experience in an Epic Application workspace

Minimum Qualifications

Education:Associates degree preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Epic Certification required

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

• Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similarexperience in system analysis design building testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required
• Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large complex corporate Information System
• Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required
• Experience in supporting complex problems

Compensation:$45.00-$62.00/HR
