Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to drive programs focused on building Apples Cloud Observability and Storage Platforms. Youll partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to develop the manage the platform that powers many workloads across Apple. Systems within this scope are complex. nThis role requires you to build trust with engineering partners and persistently remove ambiguity by seeking to reduce complexity. nYou will not only be expected to be able to readily understand complicated and subtle interdependencies but also to evaluate new requests and new information in light of these systems. nBeing able to think on your feet is important as is the ability to thoughtfully and efficiently debate the validity of a given approach to any aspect of a project under your control. nNeedless to say strong social and interpersonal skills are required for this work will be incredibly important to maintain and improve Apples most critical cloud services.n

12 years of engineering program managers in the cloud infrastructure domain specifically observability and cloud storage focus background in software delivery and services infrastructure engineeringnProficient in software development processes (SDLC) and comfortable with various project management methodologiesnExperience with risk analysis as well as developing prioritizing and leading the roadmapnBachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or deep relevant industry experience

Prior engineering infrastructure or software development program management experience for Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps strongly written u0026 verbal communication skills along with polished presentation skillsnSelf-motivated and proactive with proven creative u0026 critical thinking capabilitiesnExpertise in coordination u0026 participation in requirements gathering and design brainstorming sessionsnExperience leading multiple complex projects simultaneouslynA history of leadership decision making negotiation skills and ability to influence partners without direct authoritynProven record in defining processes developing metrics and executing on them while driving program maturity and process optimization
