Position Summary
Our clients Space & Defense Power & Data team supports the U.S. military and is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to help design and develop electronic hardware solutions for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications.
Responsibilities
- Design hardware schematics PCB layouts and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Conduct hardware integration verification troubleshooting and testing
- Support technical project planning including proposals cost estimates schedules and design reviews
- Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements
- Develop engineering test requirements and unit subsystem and system level test plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle
- Contribute to the development of new technologies products and processes that meet cost schedule and performance objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years of experience developing electronic hardware products and systems
- Experience designing electronic hardware products and bringing designs from concept through testing and implementation
- Familiarity with one or more areas including circuit design PCB development embedded hardware system integration or hardware verification
