Sr Data Scientist, Last Mile Science and Analytics

As a Research Scientist you will join a team dedicated to optimizing our delivery network ensuring reliable and efficient service to our customers. We are seeking an enthusiastic customer-centric professional with strong analytical capabilities to drive impactful projects implement advanced solutions and develop scalable processes.
In this role you will have immediate ownership of business-critical challenges and the opportunity to make strategic data-driven decisions that shape the future of our delivery operations. Your work will directly influence customer experience and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess both research science capabilities and program management skills thriving in an environment that requires independent decision-making and comfort with ambiguity.
This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our advanced logistics network while working with pioneering technology and data science applications.

- 5 years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction analysis statistical modeling and communication experience
- 5 years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R SAS Matlab etc.) experience
- Masters degree in a quantitative field such as statistics mathematics data science business analytics economics finance engineering or computer science or Bachelors degree and 8 years of professional or military experience
- Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression

- 2 years of data visualization using AWS QuickSight Tableau R Shiny etc. experience
- Experience managing data pipelines
- Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
