Job Summary:
The Sr. Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric designs and builds enterprise-grade data pipelines and lakehouse architecture within the UVM Health Microsoft Fabric data platform. This role is responsible for the reliable and scalable delivery of high-quality data from Epic and operational source systems into the unified data model enabling downstream analytics that supports clinical care operations and quality improvement. The Sr. Data Engineer serves as a technical lead on complex data integration projects and mentors junior engineers.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Engineering or related field required.
Experience:
5 years of data engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Azure or equivalent cloud data platforms.
Advanced SQL and PySpark skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical components of complex data projects.
Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
