Youll work with purpose knowing that every drop of water we deliver makes a difference and that our customers trust us to uphold the highest standards of reliability sustainability and SUMMARY:Administers day-to-day operational activities related to water services and main extensions ensuring accurate timely and customer-focused processing of inquiries contracts revenues and service :Customer Service & Intake CoordinationServe as the primary point technical resource for internal and external customers regarding water applications main extensions hydrants and related infrastructureProvide guidance and resolve complex customer inquiries regarding interpretation of RWA policies engineering standards and Rules & evaluate customer requests and recommend solutions for non-routine service Preparation & DocumentationPrepare contracts and process all documentation associated with: Water service connectionsHydrant Main extensionsVerify technical accuracy completeness regulatory compliance and financial requirements prior to executionIdentify contract risks or discrepancies and recommend corrective Collection & Routine AccountingMonitor reconcile and account for revenues refunds liabilities and deposits associated with water services and construction projects. Research and resolve financial discrepancies involving contracts customer accounts and project costs. Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for management review. Assist with revenue forecasting and trend & Payment ProcessingCoordinate billing activities for:r: Main extensionsLarge and small servicesMeter yokes vaults and copper settersOver the counter material salesCoordinate with Finance and Engineering to resolve billing and Servicing Requests Review and maintain mapping requests and infrastructure records to ensure accuracy between GIS SAP engineering drawings and field documentation. Coordinate corrections to service records and mapping information with Engineering and Operations. Support ongoing improvements to digital records management and data Demolition CoordinationCoordinate demolition of water services by: Verifying compliance with state municipal and RWA regulationsConfirming required approvals and documentation are in placePrepare and distribute notification letters to: Property ownersMunicipal officialsDemolition contractorsInterdepartmental & External CoordinationCoordinate with Engineering Capital Planning Operations Billing and other RWA divisions to support service installations and project accurate and timely information flow between internal teams and external as liaison among Engineering Operations Capital Planning municipalities contractors developers and -Coverage & Administrative SupportProvide cross-coverage for positions within: Contracts and New ServicesProvide technical cross-coverage for Contracts & New Services and Capital Planning functions. Exercise independent judgment to maintain operational continuity during supervisor or staff & Organizational SupportPerform other duties as necessary to support: Departmental strategic initiativesOperational efficiencyRWAs mission vision and valuesQUALIFICATIONS:Educational Requirements:Associate degree in technical or business-related field (Bachelors degree preferred).Experience/Skills/Abilities:Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in a water utility dealing with issues of a technical nature experience with contract administration in a business environment or equivalent experience in a related organizational customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in standard office software and departmental financial experience administering contracts interpreting utility policies coordinating complex infrastructure projects and resolving customer issues.
