Job Summary

THE POSITION

The NAVLIN US Consulting Senior Consultant will play a key role in managing and delivering market research and strategic consulting projects. The Senior Consultant will manage client relationships and drive project outcomes while mentoring a growing US team.

The role involves leading projects spanning from strategic thinking backed by robust data-driven tools to pure market research. Senior Consultants oversee the translation of market research and analytics data into actionable commercial strategies. Projects may include aspects of pricing market access launch strategy competitor research value-based pricing analysis health-technology assessments and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directing consulting engagements by overseeing evidence-based research and payer analytics to support the development of US and global pricing reimbursement and market access strategies.
  • Developing compelling client-facing materials and presenting high-level strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Implementing and improving consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market knowledge across the team.
  • Consistently maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in visual storytelling and written/oral communication.
  • Managing multiple concurrent project teams ensuring deliverables are high-quality on-time and within budget.
  • Helping to identify and pursue new business opportunities including lead generation and end-to-end proposal development.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff members providing timely feedback to ensure professional growth and project excellence.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring client delight and establishing thought partnership and trusted-advisor relationships.

  • Travel  (<10% 1-3 times per quarter US International)
  • Hours (minimum of 40-50 Hours per week)

Qualifications :

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience education knowledge skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience and/or Training:
    • 5 years of experience in life sciences consulting with a proven track record of managing project teams.
    • Deep expertise in US pricing and market access including mastery of payer analytics and working knowledge of value-based pricing models.
    • Strong research conceptual analytic and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated proactivity self-awareness and accountability.
    • Mastery of time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to develop and oversee the creation of creative well-structured PowerPoint presentations.
    • Appetite for learning and ability to work in both collaborative and independent remote environments
  • Technology/Equipment: 
    • Proficiency in MS Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Advanced degree (MBA PhD or MS) in a relevant field (e.g. Math Economics Engineering Sciences or Business).
  • Experience and/or Training:
    • Prior experience in life sciences commercial strategy and/or pricing & market access consulting
    • Experience with secondary research (researching topics such as clinical guidelines) and primary research (in-depth interviews and surveys)
    • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI SQL or Python) for complex payer data analysis.
    • Experience in efficient and appropriate utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in augmenting consulting workflows (e.g. use of LLMs for Retrieval Augmented Generation).
